Introduction

Recently I have been wanting to make some sort of basket so this assignment was the perfect opportunity! I wanted to try different materials and various techniques.  Through the research I found, plaiting seemed to be simple technique to an unknown weaver and allowed the creator to use a more flexible medium.

In this tutorial blog, I will demonstrate how to weave a basket using the technique, plaiting.  It is a simple under-over weave that is very easy to learn once you get the hang of it.
